This project seeks to study the transnational migration of Ecuadorian indigenous people belonging to ethnic groups that are generally recognized as Kichwa-Otavalo, from the province of Imbabura, Ecuador. The objective is to frame the migrant population that is related to the city of Bogotá (long-term residents, recent immigrants, temporary migrants and migrants in an irregular legal situation) within the broader dynamics that constitute some of the migratory networks.
