Project Details

Description

Describe the impact of rare variants in the 3'UTR regions of genes related to the molecular etiology of breast cancer.

The seed capital fund is part of the strategy to promote and strengthen research and its purpose is to provide a favorable ecosystem for the development of research at Universidad del Rosario. The diversification of instruments and funds for the financing of research projects allows a timely response to the heterogeneity of capacities and needs among the different academic units, groups and researchers, as well as to the University's own interests in research. The seed capital fund is oriented to support the financing of: exploratory phases of research projects that may find greater possibilities of presentation to external calls once they have some initial results; initial phases of projects of greater magnitude but that are not yet financed; development stages of projects financed only through the work plan of the researchers in their academic unit. Consideration will also be given to funding the final stages of projects that have encountered funding difficulties in their timely completion.
