Project Details

Description

University sport is that sports practice that complements the academic training of a university student. Each semester, the number of students who are linked to these university selections increases. At the same time, sports performance has increased to such a level that the different universities, including the Universidad del Rosario, have national and international representation. At this level of competition and performance, it is imperative that these athletes have physiotherapy and medical monitoring, in order to accurately assess and control their physical condition, performance and health. In addition, our goal is to analyze certain variables that could increase your risk of suffering a sports injury in your practice. For this reason, you are being invited to participate in the study "Impact of a Program to promote Performance and Health in University athletes - ElitUR Program", which aims to evaluate your physical condition, health variables and your general well-being, to In this way, contribute to the creation of an information system that allows the identification of risk factors for sports injuries in order to mitigate them.
