Description
As a starting point, we propose to characterize the BEPS population, through inference on the parameters of time preferences and attitude to risk.
Characterization using temporal preference parameters can be extremely useful, because in most one-time inter-temporal choices, we cannot distinguish the effects of impatience from those of preferences for consumption smoothing.
