Description
The project aims to reconstitute part of the history of the most important hospitals in the New Kingdom of Granada, the Hospital San Juan de Dios de Santafé and the Hospital de Cartagena de Indias, in order to explore how their dynamics fit into a general movement of health reform in colonial society at the time, and to explore how they were (or were not) the object of a series of transformations, which would have been established from the eighteenth century onwards.
