Project Details
Description
The provision of health services has been drastically affected by the COVID-19 crisis, not only because of the high demand for the care of infected patients and the strain they have placed on the health system, but also because of the need to continue with the normal functioning of care, prevention, follow-up and control plans. In addition, the population's fear of attending health institutions has led to the fact that only urgent procedures are performed.
This project proposes to analyze the models of home care and hospitalization as a strategy to guarantee the continuous functioning of health care plans, particularly in those events not related to COVID-19, and at the same time as a measure to expand the capacity of care without imposing excessive pressure on the physical facilities of health institutions.
