Description

The purpose of the present study was to evaluate heart rate, using pulse rate technique, oxygen consumption and work activity observation in estimating workload in a load handling task for three situations: lifting/moving/depositing; before, during and after the task heart rate is recorded for 34 young volunteers (16 females and 18 males) under laboratory conditions. A record is made of the work gesture and of the strategies for lifting, moving and depositing the load.
