Description

This project seeks to generate the basis for a broader research program that seeks to analyze the production of specific modes of health governance in Colombia, and investigate how these are projected into forms of legitimacy. The objective is to analyze the development of the Colombian health system from the point of view of the tensions between market, technological development and public participation, documenting how the State, patients and medical community navigate between these tensions and their consequences in terms of governance of health care in Colombia.
