Project Details
Description
The project seeks to generate recommendations for the adoption of responsible behavior in research by the main actors involved in the development of science. In order to achieve this, 5 consecutive phases are proposed that will
the development of recommendations based on the main current concerns and that involve the participation of key sectors: higher education institutions, research centers, civil society and health institutions that carry out research.
health institutions that conduct research. The current gaps that exist in the appropriation of responsible behavior, as well as the heterogeneity in national and international recommendations, are the starting point for refining the problem questions.
the starting point for refining the problem questions posed. By means of a mixed methodology, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches, the participation of key actors in the refinement of the initial questions is sought. Subsequently, a systematic literature search and stakeholder experiences will provide the main substrate for the recommendation development team to formulate the main alternative solutions. These will then be evaluated with a wider audience. Finally, in order to transfer the results of the project, the recommendations will be extensively addressed in a scientific integrity training and mentoring program.
