Project Details
Description
Work is fundamental in people's lives as it occupies a large part of adult life, generates spaces for socialisation, mobilises individuals towards certain objectives and builds a personal identity, among others. Different research has shown that having a job where underemployment is perceived, or being unemployed, produces different consequences that affect the physical and mental health of people, directly diminishing the well-being and quality of life of individuals in the working stage. In Colombia little is known about this issue, which is why this study aims to contribute to the construction of a body of knowledge that will lead to actions and strategies that mitigate the harmful effects of the perception of underemployment and unemployment.
