Project Details
Description
The purpose of the study is to evaluate the profile of certain cytokines in the aqueous humor (AH) and the vitreous humor in a prospective, in vivo, experimental model of ocular hypertension and its relationship with the immune response in the HA and retina, in treated eyes. with intravitreal injection of AD-MSCs.
As a hypothesis of the study, we propose that by applying AD-MSC in the vitreous, a neuroprotective effect will be produced, which will alter the profiles of some cytokines, altering/neutralizing their effects in the retina, modulating the immune response in aqueous humor in a model of ocular hypertension.
