Project Details

Description

Equity, inclusion and diversity, seen as ideal (and necessary) values in Colombian society, must be the result of collective construction, in which all members of society assume these values as their own.

To achieve this, it is necessary to carry out processes of awareness, resignification and collective construction around these ideals that involve initial education and the actors who gather around it.

Against this backdrop, in alliance with the research groups in Public Health and Rehabilitation Sciences of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences, sharing their interest and experience in the field of health and work with communities, they decided to build a project of qualitative research-intervention based on the PAR entitled “Healthy, inclusive and diverse initial education in the El Codito sector, eastern hills of UPZ 9 (Verbenal), Town of Usaquén”, which was chosen for financing from the Ministry of Science, Technologies and Innovation.

This project seeks to promote healthy lifestyles, recognition, inclusion and equity in early childhood and in the educational community of Codito (UPZ Verbenal) based on the understanding of sociocultural fabrics and daily practices regarding health and diversity.
