Description

In 2020, Universidad del Rosario of Colombia and Artesanías de Colombia signed an unprecedented agreement to promote the exchange of traditional knowledge of artisans through education, teaching and research. As part of this agreement, this series of documentaries is part of the annual celebration of the Medal for Master Craftsmanship in the Master of Masters category. Each documentary, produced by the Faculty of Creative Studies, pays tribute to the master and the craft he/she represents with the purpose of contributing to the dissemination, promotion and preservation of traditional crafts as an expression of Colombia's cultural diversity and the empowerment of the country's artisan communities.

Commitments / Obligations

-Promote the participation of Universidad del Rosario of Colombia and its Faculty of Creative Studies in the medal for artisan mastery.
-To join efforts to achieve audiovisual products that exalt the country's craft knowledge and traditions, as well as the communities that represent them and their protagonists.
-To jointly generate projects that enhance the generation of new knowledge for the preservation, rescue and appreciation of the country's cultural heritage.
