Detection of telomerase during in vitro differentiation of human mesenchymal stem cells in cardiomyocytes

Description

The aim of this study is to evaluate telomerase expression and activity during the in vitro differentiation of human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs) into cardiomyocytes. Temporal changes in telomerase activity, TERT gene expression, and additional markers associated with pluripotency, cardiac differentiation, and cellular senescence will be analyzed using molecular and biochemical approaches. Furthermore, the relationship between telomerase activity, cell proliferation, genomic stability, and the efficiency of cardiomyogenic differentiation will be investigated. The findings are expected to provide mechanistic insights into the role of telomerase in cardiac regeneration and support the development of stem cell-based regenerative therapies for cardiovascular diseases.
