Description

In this technical document we present the consulting proposal for the "Design, development, implementation and evaluation of education programs for nuclear medicine oncology residency, technology and nursing". This consultancy will be implemented by a team with a profile highly focused on medical education and with extensive experience in curricular reform of medical programs. Likewise, the methodology of joint construction between both institutions, the know-how and the experience of the consulting team that has been strengthened through the projects and research products in medical education and health professional education of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences. It is also important to emphasize that the project is framed within a philosophy that puts principles and educational needs before tools and instruments,
which is aligned with current international trends in health education that give a modern and meticulous look at teaching and learning. Several benefits are derived from this educational philosophical framework, including offering high quality programs (with more competent and critical thinking technologists, professionals and specialists), having a greater impact through innovation, and being more attractive to current and potential residents, nurses and technologists, creating new possibilities for generating financial resources with the educational services of the National Cancer Institute. The work methodology is framed in a model of curricular design composed by six steps, which are focused in the design of the required educational programs, this way, creating a document that gives answer to the needs stipulated in the improvement project "Innovation in the nuclear medicine service as a differentiation strategy to improve the competitiveness of the National Institute of Cancerology for the management of cancer".
