Description

The pandemic to which the world has been exposed during the years 2020 and 2021 due to the sudden appearance of SARS COV-2 and the measures
measures adopted by the countries to mitigate the spread of the disease have had a great impact on lifestyles
of the world population, with special affectation of the child population in terms of mental health and increased sedentary behavior.
This research proposal has a multidimensional and interdisciplinary approach whose objective is to determine the effects of the
sanitary measures adopted to contain COVID-19 on sedentary behavior, emotional and attentional function of children and
girls of school age in the city of Bogotá. DC In this sense, a mixed approach study (qualitative-quantitative) is proposed in three phases:
1) the evaluation of the effects of the containment measures of the SARS-COV 2 virus in school boys and girls that include isolation
social, confinement and educational alternation, 2) the characterization of sedentary behavior, the emotional and attentional function of the
children, and 3) the implementation of a comprehensive intervention program that is based on Physical Activity (PA) and Psychopedagogy (PsP) in modality
virtual and/or educational alternation in schoolchildren from 8 to 10 years old.
