Description
To diagnose the current tendencies of the State in Latin America, propitiating the encounter and the academic production of recognized specialists. The design took into account four major problems of current studies on the State: the discussion between structuralism and historicism; the problem of hegemony and the relative autonomy of the State; citizenship and social movements; and the rise of (neo)populism in Latin American countries.
