Objective: To characterize the oral and pharyngeal phases of swallowing through the use of clinical protocols and self-perception of swallowing signs and symptoms in older adults attending between March 2020 and March 2022 to the Méderi hospital network in the city of Bogota, Colombia.

Obtener una caracterización detallada del proceso de deglución en pacientes adultos mayores de 65 años. A partir de los hallazgos de mayor relevancia se desarrollarán estrategias desde el servicio de fonoaudiología para identificar de forma temprana condiciones relevantes y poder realizar intervenciones preventivas o en estados tempranos.
