Description

This project is developed with the objective of identifying strengths, weaknesses and opportunities in the assessment and referral processes in patients with uveitis with the aim of improving the recognition, diagnosis and treatment of uveitis in Colombia.

Commitments / Obligations

This study adheres to the ethical principles for research in humans established by the Declaration of Helsinki, the Belmont Report and Colombian Resolution 008430 of 1993. The confidentiality of the information was preserved in accordance with the Habeas Law (Law 1581 of 2012 ). This research was presented to the Research Ethics Committee of the Higher School of Ophthalmology - Instituto Barraquer de América, in Bogotá, Colombia. As it is a retrospective study and in accordance with the institution's policies, although it requires a registration process, it does not require an approval process by the ethics committee.
