Description

Business columnists are read profusely by business persons, CEOs, and entrepreneurs. Reasons would vary, from start the days with experts’ insights and reflections, to just entertainment. Although, what remains in question is the supporting evidence used by the columnists or if the column-writing exercise aims mostly to express personal reflections and anecdotes; the readability and content; and its association with social media influence and engagement. To comprehend the attributes of the business media columnists in Colombia in terms of use of robust evidence in supporting their claims, legibility and text-content, and their relationship to social media influence and engagement.

This project aims to comprehend the evolution of topics and content of business columnist in Colombia. Also, the relation between content, sex, and education attainment, and social media influence.
