Description
The Group of Studies in Traditional Health Systems of the Universidad del Rosario (Gests) in association with the Center for Research in Tropical Diseases of Canada (Ciet), following the objective of investigating the concepts and beliefs of traditional health systems, is developing a line of research in epidemiological and clinical studies with the objective of contributing to the construction of an epidemiology applied to traditional knowledge, also known as intercultural epidemiology. This study is part of the degree requirements of the principal investigator in the PhD in Epidemiology at the Autonomous University of Guerrero in Mexico. The Research Fund of the Universidad del Rosario (FIUR) supported the project in the 2014-2015 call and this document constitutes the final report of the research.
