Art Criticism in the Liberal Republic

Among the sources for the study of art criticism in Colombia, that type of cultural products directly linked to art have been catalogued as central. The privilege to publications such as Universidad, Arte y letras, Revista Contemporánea, has diminished the interest in magazines of wide circulation, with delimited audiences and high cultural penetration. The case of the magazine Cromos is exemplary in this sense: throughout its existence, the magazine has constantly maintained a high level of interest.
