Description
Preparation of a document characterizing regulatory failures in the health sector
Commitments / Obligations
The team from the Universidad del Rosario undertakes to deliver a document that, in its first section, characterizes the regulatory failures in the sector that may contribute to higher or lower health spending than what would be a hypothetical optimal level. In a second section, the study quantitatively assesses the adequacy of the Per Capita Unit (UPC). To make this estimate, it proposes estimating health expenditures if the entire population were affiliated with Nueva EPS, applying the spending pattern of its affiliates. The adequacy database will be used to make this estimate. In a third section, the authors will share the conclusions of the study.
