Analysis of gene expression profiles in peripheral blood and tumor tissue of Colombian patients diagnosed with epithelial ovarian cancer. of Colombian patients diagnosed with epithelial ovarian cancer.

Project: Research Project

Project Details

Description

To determine the differences between gene expression profiles in peripheral blood in patients diagnosed with epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) and healthy women with epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) and healthy women attended in a high complexity hospital in Bogotá, Colombia in 2024

Keywords

peripheral blood, epithelial ovarian cancer, EOC, gene expression, tumor tissue, tumor tissue

Commitments / Obligations

It is expected to identify the expression profile in blood and tumor tissue in patients with epithelial ovarian cancer, seeking to establish possible molecules that could be candidates for biomarkers and contribute to epithelial ovarian cancer, seeking to establish possible molecules that could be biomarker candidates and contribute to the early detection of the disease. Likewise, the germline molecular study will allow to confirm or rule out a hereditary cancer syndrome. This study represents a first approach to the comprehension of the gene expression profile
