Description
The study of public administration has been a recurring theme in the history
of the law and continues to be highly topical. This is because the State constantly modifies its functions by adapting them to new needs in order to achieve the prevalence of the general interest.
The Colombian State must follow the constitutional guidelines set out in the 1991 Political Constitution, aimed at building a social and democratic State based on the rule of law. Based on this, it is necessary to provide it with a series of mechanisms that allow it to bring its postulates down to reality.
At the same time, it must be recognized that the State, in carrying out its functions, can cause damage to individuals and in these cases, it must enter to correct, mitigate and compensate for injuries caused.
In this vein, this research project aims to study public administration from two perspectives: the first, more general, seeks to achieve a general understanding of administrative activity and the second, particularly, focuses on how to limit the actions of the State
