OBJECTIVES:

1) To foster the study of different techniques of artificial intelligence (IA) for applying in problems of health systems.

2) To establish solutions in the health and medicine sciences through different IA paradigms.

3) To generate new alternatives in the building the models of IA based on bioinspired systems.

DESCRIPTION:

Semill-IAS seeks to generate spaces for discussion, where problems from medicine and health sciences areas are treat through solutions that come from the area of ​​artificial intelligence. At the same time, throughout the semester students and professionals have a place to share ideas in different fields, trying to consider the IA area as transversal to many sciences.

RESEARCH LINES:

- Biomedical Data Science
- Diagnosis Support Systems
- Machine and Deep Learning
- Natural Language Processing

ACTIVITIES:

- Seminaris about current topics related to artificial intelligence (all weeks)
- Development of final career projects (during the academic period)
- Writing of conference papers (during the academic period)
- Presentations of different works to new students (during the academic period)
