Research Incubator: WellFit in Physical Activity, Sport and Health is attached to the Rehabilitation Sciences research group.
It is an extracurricular academic oportunity designed for students. Here tools are provided to facilitate the development of skills in formative research to undergraduate and posgraduate students from different areas of knowledge around physical activity, exercise and sports related to health. It seeks to generate interdisciplinary, translational work that can be extended and applied to the general community.
Research Lines:
- Clinical sciences and rehabilitation.
- Basic sciences and applied to the movement.
- Technology development and innovation.
- Somatic education and mental health.
- Public health, management and entrepreneurship.
Objectives:
- Generate knowledge around the measurement of Physical Activity and Sport through collaborative research projects.
- Support the training of undergraduate and postgraduate students around the development of research projects that are related to physical activity, sports and health.
- Promote the development of formative research skills in seedbed students.
- Development and improvement of search skills, critical analysis of scientific evidence and consolidation of written research proposals.
- Offer advice and counseling on issues related to the measurement of physical activity and sport.
