Description:
The development of strategies that promote the advancement of supply chains has been of great interest to developing countries. In this sense, Latin American countries are characterized by having great potential for the generation of products with sustainability components. Although the formulation of sustainable strategies allows the articulation of technical and economic aspects, social and environmental impacts are rarely addressed from the design stage. Thus, through this workshop, the development of simulation models is proposed that allow the evaluation of the impact of strategies on supply chains in Colombia, presenting itself as an alternative for supply from non-conventional sources. In addition, the incubator aims to be a response to the analysis of policies that contribute as an alternative to decarbonization and a business model compared to conventional sources of supply, such as fossil fuels.
Objectives:
- Develop skills for modeling and simulation in supply chains with sustainability components.
- Strengthen the role of incubators in training students in modeling and simulation of supply chains.
- Develop research skills in students.
- Generate products resulting from research training processes.
