Description:

The research group has two lines of work: one focused on research and the other on outreach. The research line will have two emphases: on the one hand, it will examine how the “human and social sciences” currently circulate beyond the university-based academic circuits that traditionally regulate them, as a specific field of knowledge that both contrasts and interacts with others; on the other hand, it will strategically engage with transdisciplinary and experimental research initiatives. The outreach line, in turn, will focus on linking the group to undergraduate thesis projects developed by students in the final years of secondary education (10th and 11th grades), many of which address topics that can be analyzed from the perspective of the human and social sciences.

Objective:

To analyze contemporary forms of circulation of the human and social sciences beyond traditional university-based academic circuits, identifying their relationships, tensions, and possibilities of articulation with other fields of knowledge. To develop transdisciplinary and experimental research initiatives that integrate diverse theoretical and methodological approaches, promoting innovation in knowledge production within the human and social sciences. To connect the research group with secondary school research processes (final-year thesis projects), supporting their development through perspectives from the human and social sciences and strengthening their analytical and critical dimensions.

Research Lines or Active Projects:
