Research Incubator: Data Protection

Description:

We are a team of students, young researchers and research professors interested in deepening the study of data privacy protection, through the implementation of existing algorithms and the development of new ones. The main focus will be location information, but it can be extended to other domains. Current EICT resources will be used and external allies will be identified in order to work on the objectives.

Objectives:

1. Raise awareness among students about the problems of poor data management and its impact on data privacy.
2. Know and research current legislation on the subject of data privacy.
3. Develop skills for research in the design, development and application of data privacy protection mechanisms.
4. Identify areas of application of the different types of protection mechanisms.
