Description:
This research incubator is conceived as a space for the formation of researchers in topics surruonding Criminology and Criminal Investigation. This space will be lead by the carreer professor and director of the abovementioned program, but, considering the interdisciplinariety of the research that may be conducted, it may count with the aid of other carreer professors from the Research Group in Criminal Law and other research groups from the School of Law, as well as other teachers from the undergraduate program in Criminology and Criminal Research. Likewise, it is projected as a space for inter-institutional cooperation. Accordingly, we are projecting, in principle, such cooperation with the School of Criminal Investigation of the National Police and the Observatory of Crime Policy of the Ministry of Justice and Law. This last issue is subject to the discussions and aproval of said institutions.
Objective:
Promote the formation in research of students enrolled in the undergraduate program in Criminology and Criminal Research, and that of students enrolled in the Law program that are interested in these topics. Strengthen the inter-institutional cooperation through joint research with the National Police and the Ministry of Justice and Law.
