Organization profile

We are a group of students from the School of Medicine and Health Sciences that seeks to train in research through the process of formulating and answering research questions that promote the development of knowledge and impact in clinical research, clinical epidemiology and evidence-based medicine. We promote interdisciplinary work in the development of clinical research projects, creation of databases and information networks. We seek to be a nationally recognized nursery for its quality and impact work, through the implementation of innovative projects that contribute and transform clinical practice and improve the quality of life of patients.

Research Lines:

  • Self-medication.
  • Translational Biochemistry and Genomic Medicine.
  • Sexual and reproductive health.
  • Disability.
  • Altitude.

Objectives:

  1. Link students from the School of Medicine and Health Sciences interested in early training and research background to active research processes in the Clinical Research Group.
  2. To promote and facilitate interdisciplinary work with epidemiological and methodological foundations with a translational approach.
  3. Training in research by asking questions that promote the development of knowledge about various current clinical problems.
