Research Incubator: Action and Representation in the arts

Description:

The Research+Creation reserch incubator "Action and Representation in the Arts" is an experimental and collaborative space dedicated to generating proposals that explore the relationship between actions and representation. Actions occur as experiences in a specific time and space. In contrast, images are configured with the intention of capturing in time what appears.

Objectives:

1. 1. Investigate artistic manifestations in which actions are developed in contrast to their representation.
2. 2. Propose the creation of artistic actions.
3. 3. Explore possibilities of representation in the creative field.
4. 4. Reflect on the relationship between representation and action in the arts.
5. 5. Build bridges between different disciplines that complement each other in the creative realm.

Working Methodology:

Practical approaches such as gamification and virtual reality will be taught and implemented to promote the development of self-efficacy, the disengagement from violence, and social inclusion. Our work is based on collaboration between academia, civil society, and the State, creating bridges for the construction of alternatives for sustainable and peaceful lives.
