Research Incubator: Migrations and Borders

Profile:
The Migrations and Borders seedbed is a collaborative space between teachers, students and migrant organizations in which research and extension are combined, along with the accompaniment to diverse spaces of migration, mainly documenting migratory experiences, their diversities, distances and proximities with the state discourse.

Methodology of work:
The Semillero is based on the idea of learning-by-doing. In this order, from diverse research practices inspired by Participatory Action Research (PAR), students have the opportunity to interact first-hand with migrants and their different processes within the country.

Active lines or projects:
Collaborative work with the Migrant Care Foundation (FAMIG).
Labor Inclusion of Migrants in Colombia.
Project Documenting Migration Experiences.
