Organization profile

Our research nursery is also part of our teaching activity. We encourage students' interest in research, making it part of our professional work. In this space students will be trained in the theoretical and practical concepts of translational medicine as they will be able to carry out both basic research activities and clinical activities. We will also have regular space for scientific discussions on topics of interest to the group.

Research Lines: BIOMA - Biomarkers in autoimmunity; Autoimmune Ecology; NETosis in post-COVID syndrome; Metabolomics in systemic sclerosis.

Objectives:

  1. To encourage students to take an interest in research.
  2. To teach students, from the undergraduate stage, the basic aspects of research through activities directly related to ongoing projects.
  3. To promote the growth of students in research so that they can train as research assistants and participate in more complex activities.
