OBJECTIVES:

  1. Discuss and encourage analysis that aims to resolve the following questions:
  • How to analyze Colombian foreign policy?
  • Who / Who designs, formulates and implements the Colombian foreign policy?
  • Who participates in the foreign policy decision-making process?

The Research Incubator introduces its members, from now on: foreign policy analysts, to the sub school of International Relations known as Foreign Policy Analysis. The FPA will allow the Colombian foreign policy analyst to understand, based on the case study, patterns of similarity and difference, which will also allow him/her to establish empirical connections and generalizations between the characteristics of the state and its foreign policies.

The knowledge learned will be applied to the analysis of different Colombian foreign policy events. In general, the Research Incubator invites to initiate a reflection on the scientific study of foreign policy.
