Twenty years ago, the Colombian Physical Activity Network (REDCOLAF) was created as an opportunity for collaboration between different governmental and non-governmental institutions working on issues related to physical activity, with a commitment to promoting and increasing the prevalence of physical activity in Colombia and, in turn, supporting the promotion of other healthy habits and lifestyles. The Network has held various national and international events, but is now preparing to hold its first Congress. The Executive Committee has decided to hold it in Pereira, the coffee-growing city known for its warmth, nightlife, and dark-skinned people, as this is where REDCOLAF was born. Our 20th anniversary was celebrated there with the founding members, who received special recognition.
